We’re excited to let you know that we’re making a few changes. Starting this Saturday 1st November, all art works will be available for immediate sale. This means that you will no longer have to wait until the end of an exhibition to take your purchases home. The gallery will be constantly changing and there will always be something new to see. Eventually I hope to exhibit solo which will enable me to focus entirely on my art practice. But in the meantime, keeping it local, I have invited some Murringo artists to exhibit with me to fill the gallery and add variety. Let me introduce two of them. Judy Barker is a long- time resident of Murringo and is known for her contemporary, mixed media, monoprints and abstract works which encourage you to dive into the textures and complexities of her pictures and the stories within them. Judy also creates beautiful and sometimes quirky sculptures which will also be on display and for sale. John Sharman is a master plein air painter who, luckily for us, has a residence in Murringo Village. You often see John working at his easel on the side of the road. John’s traditional paintings are always sort after, as he depicts our local countryside perfectly. I have a selection of my works available for sale. Pastels, oils and watercolours, spectacular large landscapes, delicate still life, pretty florals and brightly coloured contemporary works. I love to paint everything. It’s fun to experiment with different mediums, change my approach and explore new subjects. It’s all part of my art journey. So we invite you to come for a drive to Murringo to visit the gallery and see what’s on show. Remember, when it’s sold it’s gone but there will always be something new on the easel. We are open on Saturdays and Sundays 10am – 4pm and will be open over the Christmas period. We are planning to close for the winter months in 2026 (June, July August).
